Reedley crash involves limo

When people invest in California limousine service, they often have an occasion to celebrate. Limousines are specifically suited to host large groups of people, and offer clients the luxury of being able to relax as a professional delivers them to their destination. And while limousine service is intended to be a safe transportation option for those who prefer not to drive themselves, passengers are not entirely safeguarded from being involved in a serious car accident.

A limousine was stopped at an intersection in Reedley, California, recently when it was struck on the driver’s side of the vehicle by a U-Haul truck. It was a possibility that the driver of the U-Haul into question left the scene of the accident in another vehicle, according to authorities. California Highway Patrol officers did confirm, however, that two of the 12 people riding in the limousine at the time of the incident had to be transported by air to a medical facility for treatment of their injuries. The other passengers in the vehicle reportedly received treatment for less severe injuries.

The accident investigation was still underway, and apparently involved several agencies. Details concerning the possible identity of the U-Haul driver were not provided. It was also not stated whether or not speed and/or alcohol contributed to the multi-injury accident. People involved in car accidents can suffer from painful injuries, as well as loss of income and other difficulties. That is why it is often necessary for accident victims and their families to pursue claims against liable parties. Speaking with an experienced attorney can be helpful to learn one’s rights and options in such cases.
