Man dies in Los Angeles hit-and-run motorcycle accident

Motorcycle drivers are particularly vulnerable to catastrophic injuries, which is why it is important for all drivers to obey the law when sharing the road with a motorcycle in California. If you are involved in an accident with a motorcycle, it is imperative that you stay at the scene of the accident and speak with local authorities.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a motorcycle accident that took place on a Los Angeles freeway. The accident involved a motorcycle and several vehicles. Law enforcement officials arrested one man who allegedly hit the driver of the motorcycle with his 2002 Lexus RS300 and then fled the scene. The man now faces felony hit-and-run charges.

One of the peculiar things about this case is the behavior of the motorcyclist prior to the accident. He was driving northbound on the Harbor Freeway when he reached a freeway exit. He then veered his motorcycle to the left and struck a curb, which caused him to fly off of his bike. Local authorities have not offered an explanation as to why he swerved his motorcycle.

After the 53-year-old motorcycle accident victim was thrown from his bike, he was hit by several vehicles, including the Lexus. His body was found dead on the shoulder of the road. After hitting the motorcyclist, the Lexus hit a guardrail. There is no information about the condition of the other drivers who hit the man.

If you have been injured in a motorcycle accident, you may want to speak with a personal injury attorney about your legal options. You may be entitled to compensation for your injuries.
