Los Angeles car accident injures six people

When two vehicles improperly race down a Los Angeles city street at a high rate of speed, bystanders and fellow motorists have very little time to react or protect themselves. Whether the drivers of the vehicles think that it is exciting to race each other or they are acting aggressively in an instance of road rage, their conduct is dangerous.  Indeed, such behavior puts everyone in the area at risk of injury from a car accident.

Six people were taken to an area hospital after two vehicles flying down the street at speeds of 80 to 90 miles per hour caused a three car collision. A van attempting to make a left turn was smashed by the speeding vehicles as they passed through an intersection; the impact of the crash caused the van to launch into a spin. All three vehicles were heavily damaged, and the van driver and both drivers of the speeding cars required medical care. Three pedestrians who had been standing on the corner were also harmed in the incident, including one woman who was in critical condition with serious injuries.

The injured van driver and pedestrians will incur medical expenses due to the actions of the negligent and reckless drivers. As the victims recover, it may be helpful to reach out to an attorney to discuss filing a civil lawsuit against all responsible parties. It might be possible to collect damages stemming from the collision, including medical expenses, hospital fees, prescription drugs, on-going physical therapy, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
