2 drivers arrested after car accidents on California freeway

After a car accident, the parties involved in the collision are expected to pull over to the side of the road to exchange information and inspect the damage. Unfortunately, standing on the shoulder of the road leaves them at the mercy of other drivers. If drivers in California are not careful, a second accident can occur.

Two drivers have been arrested under suspicion of drunk driving after a series of collisions on a California freeway. One of the drivers is a 23-year-old who was driving a Pontiac GTO and the second driver is a 42-year-old who was driving a Hyundai. The accident occurred at 1 in the morning. The first driver was traveling eastbound in westbound lanes when they slammed their Pontiac GTO into a Ford Taurus and then crashed down an embankment. That driver was rescued by fire crews.

The ordeal was not over for the occupants of the Ford Taurus, however. The Ford burst into flames after the driver of the Hyundai crashed into it. The Hyundai was traveling in the correct direction on the 10 Freeway. There were four occupants trying to get out of the Ford at the time of the second car accident. Three of them are in critical condition and one of them died at the scene of the accident.

If you are a car accident victim, you may be facing serious injuries, medical bills, and lost wages. You do not have to manage these burdens on your own. You may be entitled to compensation. A personal injury lawyer may be of assistance.
